My name is Ambassador Steve, convener of this movement. The inspiration behind this group was birthed when our young school girls were taken hostage in Lagos, and too many voices remained silent. In that moment, I knew silence was no longer an option. I joined the protest held in Dallas to stand in solidarity with those girls—and since then, the passion to speak up for justice and good governance in our nation has only grown stronger.
Today, through Speak Up Nigerians USA, we are united by a common purpose: the pursuit of transparency, accountability, and responsible leadership for Nigeria. We believe that when Nigerians, both at home and abroad, raise their voices together, change is possible.
This platform is for every Nigerian who believes in a better future. I invite you to join us, lend your voice, and take part in this movement. Together, we can remind the world and our leaders that our voices count.
